Julie is a specialist Musculoskeletal Medicine Physician. Julie treats all aspects of musculoskeletal medicine, from a non surgical perspective, working closely with other rehabilitation providers, as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Julie has an interest in sports injuries/rehabilitation and getting people back into the exercise that they enjoy, and achieving their goals.
Julie has a special interest in using point of care ultrasound to diagnose and treat conditions as part of the consultation, and is involved in training clinicians in both New Zealand and Australia in this field. She offers ultrasound guided injections as part of her practice.
Julie has wide ranging clinical experience, including years working General Practice, Urgent Care and Rheumatology and post-graduate training in both Musculoskeletal Medicine and Women’s Health.
Julie has been involved in Medical Support for the Tokyo Paralympics in 2021 and the ANOC World Beach Games in Bali 2023.
