Angus hails from Christchurch originally and has spent 18 months in Nelson previously as a registrar and Locum Consultant. He has recently finished two Fellowships in Canada in Orthopaedic Trauma surgery and Foot and Ankle reconstructive surgery.

His interests include:

• Hip and knee joint replacement
• Knee sports surgery
• Foot and ankle sports, deformity and arthritic surgery including ankle replacement
• Lower limb trauma surgery – acute fracture care and subsequent issues including non-union / mal-union

He is accompanied by his wife Kathryn and four young children.
